Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the BiteBloom mobile application ("the app," "the Service") operated by Prasad Rawas ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using BiteBloom, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
BiteBloom is an AI-powered nutrition tracking application that allows users to:
- Photograph meals and receive AI-generated nutrition analysis
- Scan barcodes on packaged food to retrieve nutrition data
- Track daily calorie intake and 16 nutrients (macros, minerals, vitamins)
- Set personalized nutrition goals based on their profile
- View progress analytics with weekly and monthly reports
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use BiteBloom. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should use the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
3. Account Registration
To use BiteBloom, you must sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Responsibilities
When using BiteBloom, you agree to:
- Use the app only for its intended purpose of personal nutrition tracking
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the app
- Not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
- Not use the app to provide medical or dietary advice to others
- Not create multiple accounts or use automated tools to interact with the app
5. AI Accuracy Disclaimer
BiteBloom's nutrition analysis is generated by artificial intelligence and provides estimates only. The nutrition values displayed are not lab-tested and should be treated as approximations. Accuracy may vary depending on food type, portion size, image quality, and other factors.
BiteBloom is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice. You should not make health decisions based solely on information provided by this app. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making significant dietary changes.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, graphics, logos, and trademarks associated with BiteBloom are the intellectual property of Prasad Rawas and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without prior written permission.
Content you create (meal photos, logs) remains yours. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process and store this content solely to provide the Service.
7. Third-Party Services
BiteBloom integrates with third-party services including Google Gemini AI, Firebase, Cloudinary, and Open Food Facts. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- BiteBloom is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
- We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app
- We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from dietary decisions made using information from the app
- Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (if any)
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prasad Rawas from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
You may stop using BiteBloom and delete your account at any time from the app's Settings screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to other users or the integrity of the Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations and indemnification) will remain in effect.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the app.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
